This Temporary Resident Home Loan Calculator is designed to quickly assess if we might have a lending solution for you.

The calculator takes into account the non-resident policy of the banks, credit unions, non-bank lenders and building societies.

However, there are factors that the calculator does not take into account. For example;

  1. 457 visa lending to 90% LVR is only available to certain professional applicants with certain visa requirements (see home loans on a 457 visa).
  2. If living overseas earning a foreign currency, some lenders have restrictions around which countries they will lend to the residents of (due to potential taxation issues).

So please also refer to the relevant webpage for your particular visa or residency status for more information.

If you are getting declines across the board try reducing your loan amount. At 80% LVR there should always be a non-resident home loan option for you.
