We were buying our first home and really appreciated Craig’s advice throughout the process – especially with one of us coming from overseas so not knowing much at the beginning about how things worked in Australia. We were able to get a loan at a good rate and avoid paying LMI which saved us several thousand dollars that we can now put towards other things. Thanks for your precious help along the process. MAP has been really great. Your honesty and continuous feedback helped us a lot. Before meeting Craig it was really hard to find some accurate information from different lenders and financial institutions ( I am on a visa 461 and my partner is a PR). I was told at first that we wouldn’t get the FHOG and that the bank would not provide more than 80% …which would make it impossible for us to purchase the property we wanted. Craig was able to explain clearly the pros and cons of buying off the plan and his objectivity was much appreciated. At the end of the day and thanks to Craig knowledge regarding temporary visa status, we got the FHOG approved and a 95% loan from the bank (+LMI) ! Everything went well as expected and we were able to understand all the requirements to ensure that the deadlines were respected in a prompt and timely manner.
